Bring 2 cups milk and 1/2 cup of water to boil, with freshly grated ginger Make sure to boil on a slow flame (at least 10 minutes) until the milk gets aromatic with the ginger Just before turning off the heat, add in condensed milk and stir well until combined Let it sit for 3 to 5 more minutes, and strain to remove ginger pieces Put two pinches of saffron into two tablespoons of warmed milk separately, let sit for a couple of minutes Add the saffron milk into the rest of milk while it’s still hot, and pour the warm milk into glasses.  Decorate with slivered almonds and enjoy!
